Gayane Matevosyan is a John M. Olin Fellow in Empirical Law and Finance. She is also a first-year student at Harvard Law School. Her research focuses on the effect of regulation on credit rating agencies following the 2008 financial crisis. At HLS, Gayane is involved in the Harvard International Law Journal, Mock Trial Association, Women’s Law Association, and Armenian Law Students Association. Gayane holds two bachelor degrees — one in Economics and one in Finance, both from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she also worked as a Resident Assistant and Orientation Advisor.
