Jessica Ljustina

Jessica Ljustina is a John M. Olin Fellow in Empirical Law and Finance. She is also a third-year JD student at Harvard Law School. Her planned fellowship project is to review and extend the empirical research on hedge fund activism and long-term firm performance. More generally, her academic interests include corporate governance, M&A, and bankruptcy. Prior to HLS, Jessica worked as an investment banking analyst at RBC Capital Markets in Canada. She spent her 1L summer at Kirkland & Ellis in New York and her 2L summer with Sullivan & Cromwell. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia, where she was a Commerce Scholar.
