Liran Eliner

Liran Eliner is a John M. Olin Fellow in Empirical Law and Finance. He is also a fourth-year PhD student at Harvard Business School. His current work focuses primarily on the behavioral biases that affect the financial decisions of individuals, and on the ways in which these biases can be mitigated. Prior to coming to HBS, Liran served as VP Strategy and Business Development and Senior Advisor to the Board at a telecom company in Israel. Additionally, he served as an advisor to the Chairman of the Chinese chemical giant ChemChina on several international M&A transactions. Liran holds two bachelor degrees – one in Accounting and one in Law, both from Tel Aviv University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Lawyer in Israel.
