Utkarsh Saxena is a John M. Olin Fellow in Empirical Law and Finance. He completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) as an Inlaks scholar from Harvard Law School in 2014 and is currently pursuing a Master in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) from the Harvard Kennedy School. Before graduate school, Utkarsh clerked on the Supreme Court of India, worked with the Chief Economic Adviser of India, and practiced constitutional, criminal and commercial law at the Supreme Court of India. He is interested in studying the impact of poor contract enforcement and regulatory frictions on firm growth in developing countries.
