Studies Using the Entrenchment Index of Bebchuk, Cohen & Ferrell (2009)

The article by Bebchuk, Cohen, and Ferrell (2009) that put forward the Entrenchment Index (E index) had over 3,400 citations on Google Scholar as of May 1, 2019. A list of the papers citing this article is available here.

A review of a subset of these papers completed in April 2019 identified over 600 studies that do not merely cite the Bebchuk, Cohen, and Ferrell article, but that empirically use the Entrenchment Index put forward by the article. A review of the full set of papers has yet to be completed and is expected to substantially increase the number of identified papers that empirically use the Entrenchment Index.
