Carsten Koenig

Carsten Koenig is a Post-Doc Fellow at the Harvard Law School Program on Corporate Governance. His research interests include comparative corporate law, law and economics, and antitrust law and regulation. His recent research focuses on sustainable corporate governance, directors liability, and controlling shareholders. Carsten holds a Ph.D in law from the Free University of Berlin, an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, and a J.D. equivalent from the Humboldt University of Berlin. He has recently completed his postdoctoral qualification (”habilitation”) at the University of Cologne with a thesis on corporate liability. Prior to joining the Program on Corporate Governance, Carsten was a visiting professor at the Goethe-University of Frankfurt and the University of Wuerzburg.
